Vintage Vinyl Outfit

If you guys watched my recent mini haul then you will know that I won an embossed record player from Urban Outfitters. Excited to test out my new stylish audio player, I made a beeline to my local record store. As I filed through the music selections, I was transported in time. From one hit wonders of the 80’s to head-bopping tunes of the 90’s, there were sooo many options. Although in today’s age of modern digital media vinyls may appear to be inconvenient. The vinyl revival is very much alive and they are making a comeback in sales. Records offer music lovers a different experience. They are retro, classic, and emit nostalgia vibes. A perfect fit for any hipster’s cozy living room. I plan on collecting a few for my home.  🙂 ~b

Warm Glow of Holiday Cheer

BeInspireful - Christmas Town Outfit 1
Cardigan – H&M / Jeans – American Eagle / Boots – Forever 21

Hi guys! It’s the official first post of 2018 and I’m starting it off with an outfit from 2017. Sorry I was MIA, but the holidays kept me pretty busy hanging out with the people I love 🙂 . These photos were taken on Christmas Eve in a little town known as Christmas Town USA. Population 665. The festive town dazzled and twinkled with 500,000 Christmas lights. This is an ongoing tradition within the community since 1956. The holiday lights sparked the streets with pure joy. It was absolutely heartwarming to see how excited all the children were in this glimmering wonderland!

In these photos I’m posing inside a giant pine tree draped in stringed lights. Not your so average photoshoot – 😉 but I thought they turned out pretty neat! The lights danced and flickered all around me, leaving me a state of happiness. It also provided the perfect backdrop for this impromptu shoot. Anywho, more fun content is coming on the blog and I can’t wait to share them with you guys! In the meantime, I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for reading and stopping by. I am so appreciative for your support. I’m wishing everyone a very bright and blessed year. ❤ ~b

Christmas Village in the City Outfit

Sweater + Scraf – H&M / Jeans – American Eagle / Boots – Stuart Weitzman / Purse-Givenchy Antigona

Happy Monday y’all! As this week slowly unravels, I hope you are able to get all your last minute gifts. Christmas is literally just around the corner! There are plenty of unique places to get presents for your loved ones. I found this tiny pop-up village right in the city center park. Filled with home-made crafts, fresh cut trees, and scrumptious strudels – this place was delightful 🙂 ! Though it was a rather small market with only a few vendors, I hope it expands in the future and become an Uptown tradition.

What I Wore:

Whenever I am out and about – I generally dress super comfortable and casual. My outfit of the day consist of the famous Stuart Weitzman OTK boots. They  are a must-have item for fall and winter because they instantly add chic to any outfit!  Pairing the look with a laid-back sweater, checked scarf, and a structured crossbody –  I was ready for a day of festive shopping! Cheers! ~b

Holiday Date Night Outfit

Hi guys! Last week my boyfriend and I went on a little dinner date (pictures below). This historic home turned cafe is a hidden gem in Uptown. Secluded from the bustling commotion of the city, it’s a perfect spot for a romantic dinner for two. We enjoyed our crème brûlée as French music played softly behind us and the charming string lights twinkled above us. I was simply enchanted by the magic of the night. 🙂 It was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season!

Anwyho, can y’all believe that Christmas is less then two weeks away?! The inner child within me is ecstatic (#KidAtHeart) !! I have a few more festive photoshoots up my sleeve but in the meantime I’m wishing you all a merry and bright week! ~b

Jonsrud View Point

Hi guys! Finally, putting up some pics from my Oregon, Washington, & Colorado mini vacay a while back. I haven’t made a trip to the West Coast in years. Even so, it didn’t take long for me to be in complete awe of the majestic beauty of the natural landscape. Being surrounded by mountains and wilderness, every corner turned into a photo opportunity!

I traveled with my boyfriend and brother, who are both avid photographers. We woke up early everyday to catch the sunrise. Jonsrud View Point was my favorite scenic spot at dawn . It is located in Sandy, Oregon – which is a 50 min. drive from Portland where we were staying. The outlook was conveniently situated on the side of the road. It was also right in front of a neighborhood, making it basically someone’s front yard. Soooo can you just imagine waking up to that incredible view every morning?! Ahhh I’m jealous!

Later in the same day, we drove to Washington to visit Johnston Ridge Observatory. It’s a great place to enjoy an expansive view of Mount Saint Helens. You can also come here to learn more about the aftermath of the 1980 volcanic eruption. It is the most deadliest and economically destructive volcanic event in American history. To this date, the area is still slowly recovering. If you have the time, I would check this place out.

All in all, I hope you guys enjoy the travel pics and I can’t wait to share more of my trip with you guys. Talk to ya soon! ~b

Fall Morning Outfit

Today’s the last day of November, which means Christmas is on the way! I still have sooooo much fall-related content to edit so I apologize that it might not synchronize with the ever changing-season. However, there’s some amazing photography that I couldn’t pass up posting! So stay tuned!

What I love most about fall is how nature inspires fashion. The fall foliage brings out wine red, golden yellow, and rustic browns into our wardrobe. Emerald green is also one of those exquisite colors. It’s elegant and has a way of refining an outfit. (Also, I personally think it looks great with dark hair!)  I see this color a lot during the holiday season so you can easily transition this look into the upcoming winter. For this crisp fall morning, I layered my emerald green top with a herringbone quilted vest to create a stylish cold-weather outfit. Pairing it with dark-wash jeans and black leather riding boots completes the outdoorsy yet sophisticated look. ~bBeInspireful - Fall Morning Outfit 7.jpgBeInspireful - Fall Morning Outfit 6BeInspireful - Fall Morning Outfit 8.jpg

My Go-To Fall Outfit

BeInspireful - Fall Fun Outfit 11
Demin Jacket – H&M / Jeans – American Eagle / Top – F21 / Plaid Scarf – Kohl’s / Booties – Thrifted

Happy Cyber Monday everyone! Today marks a rare occasion where a Monday isn’t so dreadful – ha! I hope you all had a lovely holiday break with loved ones this weekend. I actually went back to my hometown for a few days. My boyfriend came along to meet my parents as well 🙂 . I’m almost certain that we both gained a solid 5 lbs with all the food my mum fed us with, but it was worth it because home cooked meals are simply the best!

Before we ventured back to Ohio to eat our hearts out, we did a spontaneous photo shoot (my brother helped too!). Living in the South means fall comes a little bit later so we were still able to capture these beautiful vibrant yellow leaves. The fall foliage was the perfect backdrop  because it really made my blue demin jacket popped. Overall, this is one of my favorite fall outfit and therefore my go-to. It is seriously so easy to throw on and makes you look like you kind-of have your life together. Keyword: kind of. In all seriousness though, you can never go wrong with a pair of basic black leggings, causal demin jacket, plain white sweater, and comfy ankle booties. Layering it with a classical plaid scarf helps pull the ensemble together. My go-to fall outfit is down-to-earth and comfortable making it ideal for any cozy fall day. ~b
