What’s In My Bag / Givenchy Antigona Mini

Hi all! I’m so excited to make this blog post about what’s in my bag. You can learn a lot about a gal by rummaging through her handbag. Whether she’s a neat freak or a hoarder of receipts – unzipping a purse is as revealing as entering someone’s bedroom. With a quick glance into mine you will uncover my love for coconut / vanilla scents , that I eat cough drops like candy ( What exactly is in Ricola that makes it so yummy?! ) , and I also have an issue with collecting bobby pins ( I misplaced those little guys everywhere ). All in all, you get the jest that a purse holds a mixture of miscellaneous knick-knacks to our sacred wallets that we wouldn’t dare leave the house without. So here’s a glimpse into my bag, what’s in yours?

Glasses /  Keys/ iPhone 7 / Little Bag / Notebook / Lotion / Eye Drop / Lip Balm / Contact Case / Lip Gloss / Wallet / Credit Card / Hair Ties / Cough Drops / Earbuds / Bobby Pins

P.S. I would also like to note that this was my first stop motion video. It was a tedious process but I love the quirky effect of the final product. Despite having to re-shoot some scenes and having photo quality issues, I enjoyed being creative on the project. In the future, I plan on making a what’s in my travel bag. ~b

Dinner Date Outfit

Hi guys! Long time, no post (sorry , sorry). I just got back from a mini trip with my boyfriend and brother. We traveled out west to Portland, Seattle, and Colorado for a few days. It was a lot of fun but very tiresome as well. I did finished my YouTube video that I was planning on making before I left though (check it out on my channel – What’s In My Bag) .

Anyways, here’s an outfit that I put together for a romantic dinner date with my boyfriend.  We went to a restaurant in uptown with a breathtaking view of the city skyline. We had a lovely time watching the sun set and I got semi-dressed up  for the occasion. The lace blue high neck / halter top is from the Lauren Conrad lines at Kohl’s. I think it’s perfect for a classy night out because it’s conservative and elegant. I wore a pair of white skinny jeans with my Givenchy Antigona mini cross-body bag to finish off the look. Hope y’all like this outfit inspo. for future date-nights! ~bBeInspireful - Dinner Date Outfit5

Girly Blush Pink Outfit

If you are following my insta feed and blog then it should come to no surprise now that I have a very feminine/girly sense of style. I love chiffon, satin, and lace – all in pastel shades of course! Blush pink is probably one of my favorite shades to wear year round. It’s a soft color that can transition with the ever changing season – depending on how you dress it up or down. In this outfit I just paired it with plain white jeans, a matching blush satchel, and a pair of neutral sandals. A very basic but super easy look that complements well together. A lot of times , keeping it simple is the best way to go! Anywho – that’s all for this look.

Also sorry for the lack of posts lately. I had to prep for an interview last week and haven’t made time to edit new content. I do have a video planned for YouTube though , but i’m not sure how to approach it just yet. Stay tuned and I’ll keep y’all updated and as always thanks for reading, I really appreciate it. 🙂 ~b

Empty High Rise Studio Apartment Tour

Welcome to another empty studio apartment tour – high rise edition! I thought it would be neat to share with you guys a more modern upscale apartment in the city. This is actually my boyfriend’s place, it’s a 15 min-ish walk from my home so I hang out here quite often. He was sweet enough to let me film the before footage to put on my YouTube channel. 🙂 The complex is very sophisticated and posh with modern amenities. There’s a sky lounge, fitness center, and pool all located on the 24th floor. It’s situated right in uptown allowing the apartment to have a gorgeous view of the city skyline. There is even a mini park located on top of the parking garage. This is where you will find us attempting to play tennis together (i’m not very good – ha!). His unit is also very sleek in design. There is dark hardwood floors throughout, stainless steel appliances, granite marble counter tops, a private balcony, and many more features. It’s really quite a nice studio… hopefully he let’s  me help with the decorating! But he is a minimalist by nature so I don’t think we are getting a lot of furniture. However, I’ll keep you guys posted if we do. All in all, this swanky apartment is a very classy place and you’ll feel like you are living in a fancy hotel. I hope you guys enjoy the extra pictures in this post and the mini video tour! ~bBeInspireful - High Rise Empty Apt 8BeInspireful - High Rise Empty Apt 9BeInspireful - High Rise Empty Apt 10.jpg

Easy Breezy Park Outfit

Top – LC Kohl’s / Jeans – American Eagle / Sandals – Steve Madden / Crossbody – Modcloth

Hi guys! This is my casual out-for-a-stroll park outfit. It’s an easy effortless look that makes you stylish in a breeze. Here in the South, the temperature is starting to get a bit cooler but definitely not cold enough for a jacket. That’s why I have been opting for long sleeve tops these days. This shirt, in particular, is one of my favorites for a variety of reasons. I absolutely adore the chic peek-a-boo shoulder detailing and the floral/vine like pattern. I’m also a fan of the material as well.  I have this thing for flowy chiffon fabrics and wear it regularly throughout the year (I just layer a lot more in the winter). To finish off the whole breezy look – I paired it with light washed skinny jeans,  a perforated cross body bag, and some strappy sandals.  Anyways, hope y’all enjoyed this outfit inspiration for the day. I’ll be sure to add some fall fashion soon when the leaves start changing here! ~bBeInspireful - Cute Park Outfit 4BeInspireful - Cute Park Outfit 6.jpg

End of Summer Maxi Dress

BeInspireful - End of Summer 1
Dress – American Eagle / Sandals – Steve Madden

Where does the time go? I can’t believe summer is coming to an end! I am dreading it…colder weather and I just don’t get along (although we have tried in the past). I’m just a flip-flop-all-year-long type of gal. But I have to admit , fall fashion and all the festivities is something I am looking forward to. For now though, I’m just going to enjoy the last rays of sunshine in this flowy maxi dress. It is more muted with earthy tones and the rustic/burnt floral pattern gives off a vintage boho vibe. These elements combined make it a transitional piece from summer to fall. I purchased the “dress” from American Eagle but it’s actually a maxi skirt that happens to fit me as an ankle length dress (#shortgirlprobs). I love the elegance of long dresses but have a hard time finding ones that do not swallow my petite frame. That’s why this skirt works as a dress, it comes in more size options and you can always belt it like I did to make it smaller. Hope this tip helps one of you shorties out there! Talk to you soon! ~b

City Studio Apartment Tour (324 Sq. Ft. – $655 Rent)

Hi Guys! Welcome to my home! I am so excited to show you guys around 🙂 . This blog post is a peek into my 324 sq. ft. uptown studio. As I have mentioned before, I recently moved from Ohio to the South a few months back.  It’s been a whirlwind of adventures and I couldn’t have been happier with my decision for a life change. And lucky for me, I was very fortunate to get this affordable rental in the city center. The average apartment cost here is over a grand …yikes! But I absolutely love my little home – it actually feels more like an upscale dorm room to be honest.  My place came equipped with a ton of built-in storage, a mini kitchen, 20 foot ceiling, and even a walk in closet! It took me a while to get my place fully decorated to my satisfaction but I am happy with the turn out. Being a natural homebody / hermit , I especially wanted to create a cozy oasis space that I could be comfortable in 24/7. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy the tour of my home and get some decor inspiration for yours! Until next time, friends! ~b
